| CMT-C
was established in January 1998 to propagate the Montessori
method of education.Dr.Montessori defines education as
“assistance to life”. With the firm conviction
that there is a need for a clear and definite method to
help the child through the different stages of his development
, CMT-C decided to set up a training
center with the following center with the following objectives: |
To provide a basic training programme for
teachers to work with children of 3 to 6 years of age
To help in setting up Montessori environment
To create awareness of the Montessori philosophy
and method
To bring about a collaborative relationship
between parents and teachers in schools
To offer workshops for working teachers:
To help understand the needs of the child
at different stages of his /her development
To enhance their skills and enrich their classrooms
To create experimental learning centers for
their children
To help them form a clear methodology to take
into the classroom
To help them realize the importance of the
process of learning and focus on it rather on it rather
then on the end result.
To organize parenting skills workshops
To organize child-centered programmes for
