Centre for Montessori Training- Chennai was established in January 1998 with a view to propagating the Montessori Method of education. There was also a dearth of trained teachers for the age group 3 to 6 years. Our belief that the Montessori Method offered the most appropriate way of assisting children in their development energized us to start the first training program in June 1998.
Provide a basic training for adults to work with children of 3 to 6 years of age
Help in setting up Montessori environments
Conduct workshops and refreshers programmes for Montessori teachers
Facilitate a collaborative relationship between parents and teachers
Conduct regular/ongoing workshops for parents
Create awareness of the Montessori philosophy and Method
