CORPORATION – SCHOOL SUPPORT
We have helped the Tondiarpet Cherian Nagar, Chennai Middle School set up Montessori environments through the support system of Kalvi Trust.
We have also set up five Montessori environments at Corporation Middle School, Rajalakshmi Nagar, Velachery
- The children who come to this school are from the underprivileged section of society.
- They start coming to school from the age of 2 ½ to 3 years. At age 5 they go to Class1.
- Working with these materials, children develop their literacy and numeracy skills. In this classroom they learn to work at their own pace and motivated by their own interest learn with joy. They learn to work as a member of a group and this helps in their social development.
